Hi all

Ive just tried the new v 1.10 on my starview usb as the v 09 keeps loosing channels all the time..
It seems now that when i change chans, theres a pause and it shows a white boot up starview screen before goin to the next channel!!!

Also it seems i keep needing to reboot the bx as the sound keeps going!

Anyone else having this happen to them??

I think most of the changes were to add N2 functionality so the box works in Ireland. Not sure there was much in the way of fixes and probably a whole host of new bugs added now its effectively a multi-cam device.

The slowness of channel change is likely because the box is no looking for both N1 and N2 datastreams. Sounds like a bad implementation that relies on timeouts rather than trying to gather some real info.

The rest of your problems sounds more like a box fault.

try 1.07 m8 i have found that in some areas different firmware works better/worse than others

the v1.10

i can say in my area the uk
that scaning is alot quicker and a better epg

I have tried v1 0.7 >> 0.9 and i always seem to have the same issues with regard to loosing chans ( always the same few chans)
I have around 5 pals that ive past over these bxs to and all off them are doin the same ( loosing same chans)
If i re scan the bx they come back but go again within a day

The only reason i got the v 1.10 is i was trying to stop the channel loosing thing..
For some reason, all the 6 boxs on v 7> 9 keep loosing these populars chans..

This seems to be happening only on the sv usb boxs

Pals off mine with the sv 3 boxes are not getting this

sounds to me like you have a to strong/ to weak signal
what channels do you always lose
