Hi folks, dont know a great deal about these boxes yet but im on my way thanks to this site and its members, have a quick question, a friend of mine has a silver digivox, system info says it "S/W version 4V04-1.001BK" if that means anything, anyway every time his box goes he gives it to me to check and as usual the "Key EMU" is at OFF, is there a reason for this, all i need to do is turn it on and all channels are back, any info much appreciated

I think you will find that the default setting is off so any time you remove the power from the box it will go to the default setting.

you need to do a powerscan and this will get all your channels back (but not in the order you had them)
you will find the option in menu/installation make sure you scan on the correct symbolrate EDIT : you cannot change the default setting if thats what you were trying to do Last edited by smoggy; 13-06-09 at 01:44 PM. |

ok thanks, but on this digivox there are only 2 options in installation, "automatic scan" and "manual scan" used the automatic twice now, and it has found some channels but no premium channels, and in the EPG every channel starts with TV ????, so i have no clue as to what channels what unless i go through everyone?

Go in to nagravision and check you're provider id and key data. Change there if necessary and store (you have to store each line of keys seperately if you change them). Don't press default key. Turn emu on. Exit and go into installation and do an auto scan.

thanks m8, i tried what you said, and i have done it quite a few times on other digivox's when keys needed changed so im pretty sure im following your instructions ok, when you say "dont press default key", well i did at the begining of this thread when trying to change settings, im still only getting so many channels and they all start with "5000 TV ****" . I only had to turn on the key EMU at the start now ive messed it right up, any more suggestions folks

You'll have to try and get hold of frequencies for you're area and do manual scans on each frequency. If you've done a factory reset you've pretty much wiped everything and the digivox does a fairly limited frequency scan afterwards. That's how I sorted mine.

Check here for frequencies, symbol rates and Net IDs: List of Net Id's for Cable TV.
If you town/city isn't listed, find the closest place and try that .
