Default Strange TB Problems

I have just done a pace 4001, all ok just connected it up to test before removing tb and it says in the menu dhcp return path is off, i checked to see if it had been cut on the board before and it hasnt, why would it say off, could it be something to do with the card image i have used? the box was'nt unlocked before so no one has messed with it. also the tb light on the front of the box is flashing?

Thanks

mate TB is most likely cut to check. press on demand on your remote control if a error message comes up saying reboot box from wall then your TB is most likely cut. when you checked on the board if the TB was cut you might have checked in wrong place

The talk back on pace boxes is within the tuner , the only way to check is to remove the tuner , take off the metal plate and check within the tuner.
As tariqz118 mentioned your properly looking in the wrong place and talk back has most likely been disabled

This might sound stupid but you aren't using a talkback filter are you?

I always cut the track by the tuner on these is this right? When I press on demand it says this service is not available at the moment. Just seems strange that this is saying that. I do want tb cut so I'm not worried but can't understand why it's doing when no one has touched the box before. Does the card script affect this in any way.

Thanks

I shouldnt think card image would matter as some people do use them images with tb enabled but just 2make urself feel better i would jus cut the track so u know for sure its disabled. I think it could be possible u dont have enough signal going back but hav enough signal coming in hence no talkback.

Well put abbs its just one of them things but i can understand u just want to know why it is the way it is. Also are u using a signal booster as some signal boosters can push signal out but cant push them very well back if u know what i mean. Lol.

How long had you had the box on stream as they can take a while before they connect upstream, you have to remove the CIM and cut track or lift leg on chip, different to 4000 or 4010.

Thanks guys your right I am just going to cut the track today then I know it's done. I think you may be right about signal. I only subscribe to broadband and have split this one feed for my box so the signal could be low.

Thanks again
