unlocker an softjtag hell

Hi guys quite new to modems but am having big probs formatted computer cause thought it was prob , now got net 2 ocx and all other files needed registered ocx in reg , when i try to run exploit saying dump error 8012 an jtag not interested tried all three versions been at this a week now with no success at all ps using 250/255 pls help have used various delays also. Can read modem in hyper so think 232 ok

when you use console unlocker have you got an ethernet cable connected? and your nic's ip address set to 192.168.100.10? If yes once you get the console should now be active if you close console unlocker and open up hyper terminal and hit enter a couple of times do you get the CM> prompt?

all IP settings right whem i start hyper and plug in modem get cm run thru to made by alex

sorry misread you, have not tried his as have only tried jtag

You need the ethernet cable connected as well with the IP setting as follows:

IP Address: 192.168.100.10
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 (this will appear automatically once you click it)
Default Gateway: 192.168.100.1

Read the tutorial that comes with the Console Unlocker download mate. Also, you say you have .NET Framework installed and the OCX files in the correct folders? Did you also install the Visual J# 2.0 Redistributable Package - SE?

Thanx but everything in place have read tuts printed them off and followed to a T but still no joy have now tried opening hyper and pressing enter a few times and nothing , reboot modem and alex firmware runs ?????

does 232 need to be flashed and if so could I do it what would be needed ?????

no, thats what a max is, the chip is a driver chip itself so no, it doesn't need flashing.
