hey guys i was wondering if someone could be generous and help me out plz,.
I was with virgin media for 1 year and now i finished with them because they put my prices up so i disconnected.
I have an ambit 255 sittin at home and doin nothing so if someone knows wot needs to be done and get me up and runnin please please help me as i would really appreciate it thanks is adavance ye.

What a coincidence haha, no worries mate. You will also need a MAX232 and an ethernet cable as well as the correct files to modify it mate. A reputable seller of the MAX232 is TMC, he sells a range of cable equipment and he is also very reliable.

Just follow a tut for the 250.

No soldering required just a max 232 as been said maybe you thinking if modem gets bricked soldering would be required.

2: A Max 232 get one from fleebay only a tenner or so.. looks like this
