Unhappy is my kryptview a dud?

`just got it today. when i plug it in and switch it on, it shows a green light on the bottom right hand side. when i try to press any buttons on the remote(new batteries) , nothing happens. when i attach it to the tv with the scart i just get a blue screen. when i attach it to the pc or my laptop nothing happens with the box, stil the green light, although it occasionally flashes slowly. when i try to flash the box my pc or laptop say " file not requested. getting annoyed with it now
