regarding the diablo cam to watch TNT, what exactly would I need to do? I know I would have to download the darkman files, but is that a one off thing or would I need to do it a lot?

You would need to program the cam with the latest underworld file. Once that is done you should be fine. For your TNT card it would not be often that you would need to update the cam.

Sorry mate, I've just checked and i have a pretty full schedule until well after Christmas

Get a Dreambox 600 or a TM 600 mate, Cams are a mugs game

Support always dries up for them within a few years

There will always be emu support on the Dreambox, and it is fairly easy to open a TNT sat encrypted signal if you have the card and the right emu.

Would you recommend the TM over the Dreambox for a begginer? I have read in other threads that Dreamboxes arent exactly for the novice.

Also, another quick question, how complicated are the Linux boxes to set up? I have read a number of threads saying that they are harder to set up with out any further elaboration.

I like to think I am quite technologicaly minded but this whole satellite game is pretty new to me, want to make sure I am not jumping off the high board before learning to swim, so to speak.

There are plenty of guides about if you google for them. Be prepared to spend a few hours atleast getting it working at all. Getting it working properly takes a good while and alot of head scratching. I know people who have been doing it for years and are still learning.
