Question Euro Vox alongside Virgin

Reading the forums, I think its Ok to have a Euro Vox and Virgin connected to one tv. However, can the power for both be left on all the while? I want the Virgin left on all the time so that it can record programs.

The reason I ask is that my sister has the same set up but the man who installed them said to only have the power to one or the other, but not the two at the same time. This is no problem for her as her Virgin does not have a record facility.

It matters not if you leave them both powered on at the same time.. She probably got told that if she had both of them going into one of them cheap scart adaptors, like a 2 into 1 adaptor, as both signals going into one scart input would be all wrong on the TV..

You can either have each box going into seperate Scart inputs on your TV via their own scart leads (if TV has two scarts) or have the VM box into the VCR socket on the Eurovox if you only have one scart on your TV... Avoid them cheapo 2 into 1 scart adaptors..
