is there a way like removing a jumper to clear the net id on a v plus? NON leaving chips way?

no mate, there isnt, for c+w and telewest, removing and blanking then doing atmega (also told fun works) netid trick. or programming straight with a dump

i dont know how but i have managed to do it with 2 v+ with atmega only. it took ages though all i did was keep retrying and rerighting the files to the card. i also messed around with the images i.e using ones from the area i was in and one from the area the box came from.

Some times you get lucky with the card method but lifting the 512 chip is the only sure way of resetting the Net ID
