I have a dbox2 and I have had a few mates call they have starviews, eurovoxs, and a samsung boxes they are all having problems with them....... hopefully it is just a signal problem in teesside

Problems..?

You point out that people are having 'problems' but you do not state what the problems are, specifically.

Please give us more information, otherwise we won't be able to advise you further.

You mentioned you were in Teeside, did you check the virmin pages for any maintenance planned for your area?

Edit: Virgin Media > help > service status > planned maintenance <-- No, you do not have maintenance planned, but still..

Can you check your signal levels?

When N2 or N3 comes to VM, if it ever does (which is doubtful) then you will easily have 6-12 months notice whilst they do the changeover.

Providers cannot just change an encryption system overnight and I can guarantee someone will notice when new encryption streams first appear.
