did i not say alot of my last post was speculation

but yeah. it seems like its on the mac. will have to mess with some other stuff aswell like the serial and see if it has an effect. As said in the OP it is possible to force other peoples A**********.cm configs it works on all TFTP servers aswelll not just the "home" one.

And for the other posters give the pkg3 a go if your having force troubles. works perfectly in the lock-downed network that stoke seems to be

TFTP Enforce Bypass = Ticked
Server IP = Empty (If I put any Nottm tftp ip's or any national ones it refuses it at sending registration)
Tried forcing almost everything except 50mb, on just about every different type of mac address all the same.

Yup, as we thought baked, even the Bus config = 2meg, meaning it really is downloading the config for the mac, regardless of what filename entered.
