Started trying to use jungle flasher on benq. Can't get the bloody IO 32 port open! It keeps saying I need to do it manually. I'm using vista. Anyone any ideas pm me or reply.

You SATA chipset looks to be Nforce 4 from the information you have given me. You only need PORTIO32 for VIA chipsets/cards. You use WinAPI for any other, I don't know why, it's just the way it is lol.

also is it vista 32x or 64x, im sure jungleflasher wont work on vista 64x maybe you can confirm this as well blakey8

It does but i've spoke to people who have had issues with it, he's running 32-bit XP because I have already spoken to him over MSN.

No need, I use Jungle Flasher on Vista 32-bit and I don't hane any issues. I think the problem lies with your SATA chipset, order a VIA 6421 card then you can use PortIO32 instead of the WinAPI, you will have a higher success rate using that card mate.
