lan streaming with dreambox 500c? Audio issues fixed?

Hi there,

I currently have a recently built HTPC and a seperate Dreambox 500c clone (with DW2.0 image on it if I remember rightly)

I remember a good while back I made attempts at streaming from the Dreambox to the pc with some success. I could get most channels to work, but some channels would not play audio, and it appeared to be a known unsolvable problem.

I was planning on buying a Terratec Cinergy C HD Pci card to go onto HTPC instead but noticed on this thread people talking about using the dreamboxes.

So can I ask.....has this streaming issue been since resolved and all channels give audio now? If so, is this working using a different image, or better VLC versions etc? I really hope this is the case, as saves me having to buy the cinergy card and dremelling the end off to let it fit my case

I believe ITV or Channel 4 was one of the offending channels...certainly some of the main channels.
