got mine running through a 5.1 keff egg system with sub... i use the optical out (on the dbox) as that gets you pro logic at least.
the phono outputs are ok for 2 channel but the optical is the best output for sound i find... you could check the scart audio outputs to see if that covers more sound channels.... i think it will. have fun with it,,,, the sound i get can be immense at times! regards dave |

I seem to only have rca input on my speaker receiver. Tv left & right. its a bush pro400 5 speaker system with sub woofer. All other inputs are for speaker inputs rca and on the other side the same for speaker outputs. I guess it can't be done then.

If you got no optical inputs on you receiver then you have to stick with a 2 speaker output or upgrade your receiver. Have you got no virtual surround settings etc on your receiver?

I was given this surround system from a friend, but after some investigating ive found that it was part of a dvd player/speakers purchase. So all I salvaged off him is the speakers.
Link in nxt post (dont have enought post count at moment) What I have is basically a subwoofer with 6 rca outputs (Speaker Outputs). Centre, Subwoofer, Sur R, Sur L, Front R, Front L. and 6 of the same for rca inputs (Audio Input) and 2 rca inputs, tv L & R. There is also a DVD to TV switch. Guess I'm missing something. |

with that having no optical input your stuck with 2 channels im afraid... but keep the speakers and get an amp with optical... like i said its only pro logic surround but its not too bad with the right speakers stuck on there.
my amp is a yamaha dsp-a595a and its great. got to use optical for the best quality !! regards dave |
