ive got dchp force and DHCP Sniffer-0.2.3.91b.exe

im in a ntl pure area so which one is best??

both are good, but dhcp sniffers0.2.3.91b is reported to be able to sniff macs from your own ubr, using the bruteforce option ticked

Outside your UBR, fella (I'm sure you mean).

not seen any evidence (as of yet) of it not sniffing outside you're own UBR if you don't bruteforce though mate.

cheers guys dont think ive ever seen a mac with a config in dchp sniffer
so is it a matter of just going thru them one by one

theres an option on the save button(arrow next to it), that gives you more info when you save the macs listed you just sniffed
says 'include bootfile'
i think thats the option you need to tick to get the configs to list

the bruteforce option will sniff macs from your own ubr, but will allow you to use some of the macs in your own ubr

Bruteforce dont work in Boro anymore it just displays a million macs with no configs also sometimes it dont work and you get nothing..

i used "coax theif" and seems to be ok..
