Default powersyc flash

Evening all

Can anyone help me flash this powersync unlooper
as I cannot get it to do squat

when I ask for box key in sidewinder I get a brief cm dos windows saying
ck coms port power not on or not flashed?

I also get in winexplorer unlooper with mikedata scipt set on titanium for a nagra rom10

I have tried 3 different cards

Trying to reset card...
Reset Failed!


Anyone have any ideas

What com port are you using? Try setting the com port number to 1 or 2 within the computers device manager

I have it set on com 2 and change back com 1 com2 and still not working

this is on a pc with serial port and null cable the one I use for libby so I think it is communicating

Thats your problem mate , you can't use a null modem cable the wiring configuration is different. you need serial extension lead or just stick the Unlooper in the back of the PC ( as i do ) but unscrew the little connector lugs on the PC

Well ive just ordered a serial extension
Put the unlooper in the pc ???? run that by me again pls

How do you connect it to mobo what interface?? Or are you pulling my chain???? hahahah pmsl

How comes I can connect to box when running libdebug then

I use a null 9F9MSerial - DB9 Pin Female - Male RS232 Serial Lead Extension Cable

I’ve had this problem with my unlooper, I keep getting that brief message for couple of seconds and then it disappears, try this coz it worked for me and I didn’t have to flash the unlooper coz my unlooper was flashed already, connect your unlooper to PC with out power and click on sidewinder and let it detect the port qnce it does then apply the power to the unlooper and that should take a bit of time but it will work, as I said it worked for me m8. fficeffice" />>>

you need "Xpatmel programs",should be in the downloads.Double click on Xpatmel 2.0a,then u need to flash it with Newd 11.Ur powersync will then flash.

g8 please accept my apologies ,,, after a good nights sleep I realise what you mean and it is possible to connect the unlooper to the mother board direct when removing the lugs no tried it yet but a bl***dy good tip!!!
