Default my turn now!!!!

just got 2 sv4's from usual supplier for 2 mates. set them both up at my house via usb stick, no probs. both then gone to mates. 1 works ok, other not. swapped working 1 non-working with working 1 at his house and ok. so he has a live feed. took it back to mine and same thing. box seems very slow to open up, but as i personally use an sv3 ,dont know if this is relevent. there is no connection from box to tv's. front of box, when switched on, does this;8888,8882,6-01,0101 or whatever was the last channel. remote and front control seem a bit slow.time is correct and i got rid of vermin's warning when i first put s/ware on. all my cables/scarts work fine on my 2 boxes.
cant suss this one out... any ideas..

I think the 8882, 8888 errors mean that it needs to be Jtagged. This will have to be confirmed by someone else though
