I dont think even mr clarkson could afford to employ his talents.
More likely he was probably accompanying (and driving) the Ferrari FXX that done the top gear track in 1 min 10 secs.
Ferrari probably wouldn't let any one else drive it.. (especialy Clarkson)...lol

clarckson said at the end of the epp that he wasnt the stig. also i have seen somewere online that they use loads of different stigs. the origional stig let slipp in a book he wrote so they probbably thought have more than 1 and no one will knoe for sure who it is.
