I have Toxic 7 now lol

im just trying to get everything ready for when the card reader comes so i can just get straight on it.

Im just hopein that i can read the data from the card ok, so i dont have to mess around but things never go that easy in my case. hopefully i will be using the usb infinity which should come with the card reader or have i got that wrong??????

I also have orderd a blank fun4 card i was going to attempt that process first to save damagin the card i have at the moment thats why i was askin how to get the information from the box to make the exteep. i have Ciwans guide at the moment

ok, good choice on the programmer but you could have gone for a cheaper one but at least you have a decent one which will come in for moscs at a later date. have you ordered the pheonix or unlimited? both will come with software but the pheonix is better for moscs.

if you've ordered another fun thats a good idea.

what you want to do in this case is to put in existing card and read and save the exteep.

then program the new card with the saved exteep and your new tw flash, stick it in the box and give it 10mins to update.

if no go, you want to then load the saves exteep into atmega boxkey reader and it will tell you your bk and ird.

you then take this bk and ird and paste into toxic and create a new exteep, eg. my_new_exteep.bin

you then load this exteep anlong with your new tw flash and put it in the box.

if your card is locked, well you have another step.....

sounds a bit strange, but you have to erase the original card. then save the exteep and read with atmega bk reader. i know you erase it, but the exteep is still there on the card.

dont get to worried about that bit thou, just see what state the card is in when your progger arrives.

i think it was New infinity usb phoenix programmer with usb lead. which other readers can you use?

You mention "moscs" whats that?

Mosc card is the original card that comes with the box from the cable provider, but you shouldn't worry about stick with fun card for now it's easier to do, later on when you have more confident you can get your self a Mosc card and try to set it up, coz Mosc card don't go off often m8.

woh, woh, woh. we dont mess with boxes or modems we pay for so lets hold off on that one. if you do think your going to take this up as a hobby go for a infinity phoenix.
like abbs said thou, you can get one of those when your more into it and you've learned a little.
you can pick up uncased funcard proggers (just the pcb and a bit of plastic where the card goes, not an actual cardreader housed in a plastic (which is ok for home use, not when your on the move)) for about a tenner.
you could always flog it on here or on ebay when you have your pheonix.
