To get the best improvement, assuming that the TV is HD Ready, is to get yourself Sky HD and run to the TV with HDMI cable.

Thanks for the feedback
RGB that sounds interesting... but where exactly do you set that ? Youre right about HD thought, I was in Comet and wow... the HD pics of Wimbledon !!!! A couple of years back I remember seeing the sky football pics and noticed a fuzziness on the footballers running.. I thought... they are paying £36 a month for that fuzzy quality !!!! But it looks like HD TV is the holy grail... (and Ive just bought the bog standard sky box too ! ) Looks like we r'e in a 5 or 6 year wait till everything is HD every broadcast etc... then HD DVD recorders... but wow, when it comes it will be awesome ( maybe it's a bit like the change from... wot was it 425 lines to 625 lines or something....) Looks like we r'e eternally waiting for something better just round the corner |

There's loads of channels already HD on Sky, I have n't got it though.
![]() Just the handful of FTA HD channels available, which I can record onto a USB HDD, as far as I'm concerned recording HD on to silver coloured disk is unnecessary. Blueray movies are stunning though too. I shall never buy another DVD, jsut go straight for Blueray. LOL, it was 405 lines actually. I remember when I was a kid, and we had an old B/W TV from somewhere with 405 lines, it worked too as they were still transmitting a compatible signal up till about 1985.
