dummies guide to loading Darkmans Patch to the Technomate 1000 series

This is a dummies guide to downloading Darkmans Patch for Technomate TM-1000D, TM-1000CI, TM-1500CI+, and TM-16002CI receivers.

First get a Null Modem cable with DB-9 connectors both ends (female) and connect one end to the receivers RS-232C socket and the other end to the rear of your PC.
If it's like my PC there's only one place to plug in. Screw all four screws gently into place

Open tm loader 1.5 or 1.6 you'll see 3 options on top FIRMWARE,CHANNELS and KEYS click desired option
and browse for the desired file

If firmware is selected for TM-1500CI TM1000CI receivers then the latest Darkmanpatch-TM-1500CI+TM1000CI_xx-xxxx.stb would be selected and click "Connect" When done click "Finish"

please choose the right firmware for your receiver as they are not all the same





Now you have patched you TM 1000 series receiver

You can add "CHANNELS" and "KEYS" follow same procedure as above by clicking the desired option

For "KEYS" click KEYS option and browse for softcam.key
i would allways choose mach1's softcam keys



For "CHANNELS" click CHANNELS option and browse for TM-1000series-xx-xx-xxxx channel list.ndf

Question asked:

I am new to this businees of cam emulators, etc..

I was shown by an established dealer in North London how to use the satellite free services by downloading Loaders and Patches but by reading the Forum reference is made by people of KEY numbers ??

Could you please let me know what these KEYS are all about ? Why and when are they needed ???

Patches for the YECHNOMATE 1000D are valid for all encrypted channels on HISPASAT 30 West, ASTRA 19.2 EAST, HOTBIRD 13 East and ASTRA/EUROBIRD 28.5 East or I will have to patch each time a particular encryption system changes

Well..............

only use the softcam.keys if you loose a package ie TVCabo, TPS , and others

as often it's only a key change when you and i loose a sat package
unless a new patch is needed

around the start of the month some sat packages change keys
and an updated softcam.key might be all that is needed to clear them

you can find the softcam.key in mach1's updated files

please remember not all packages are open
some packages will not open even if you use a new softcam.key


from a list by Guevara at s*t*u*e* with added cabo channels
at time of posting all these should be working on Technomate 1000 series
as thats the only one i have

Fine guide, but my problem: I did it step by step but there appears always an message that says, I should connect the receiver and turn it on. I do so and nothing happens. The program seems not to find the serial port. (cabel and the pc are ok because other programs run over this port). So what to do?

you have to use PORT 1 or PORT 2

if your using WindowsXP left click

START > right click MY COMPUTER then left click PROPERTIES you should now see DEVICE MANAGER left click HARDWARE then follow

I am having a similar problem although mine is a 7755

I have a sony laptop which has no serial port so I am connecting with a Belkin usb adapter which comes up as port 6 I have tried changing it to 1

I am using a null modem cable but cant seem to get a connection between pc and receiver

The light is on the belkin port showing it is getting power and if I connect the other end to a programming card the card powers up for an x cam

any body got any ideas

hi m8, [ it's a extention of the original software ]
the patch opens everything the dragon cam does, and with the tm 1500
you dont need to use any cam or card. these receivers are well supported
with patch updates, thats what makes them so popular, you only need a
null modem cable to patch, the patch firmware looks like the dra file you
load the dragon cam with. you download it via the 9 pin com port on your
pc to the 9 pin r232 port on the rear of your receiver. via a loader panel you can find in the downloads erea on this section under technomate. if you scroll up this section you will see a tutorial on how to patch.

Hi there,
I have just joined this site having got myself a Technomate 1500CI connected to Hotbird and Astra 2 (19.2E). The set came patched with the Darkman patch 1.98 from August '06 but I'm not getting hardly any scrambled channels. I somehow got hold of Eurosport 1 & 2 (Intl) in English language yesterday but they were scrambled again today. So this afternoon I've tried updating the softcam.key file with one from satnet.ch dated 15th September (I used the "Technomate Softcam keys 15-09-2006" download), but still no sign of, for example, the Eurosport channels (other than the German version of Eurosport 1), Multivision, France 2/3/5 etc. I used the instructions for downloading the softcam.key file and got the right messages back - any ideas why I don't get any more channels? PS is the "Upload" option to copy the satkey.ch file back from the 1500CI to the PC? Many thanks.
