CCTv Modulator kills 9volts for remotes

Hi,

i need to insert UHF video signal from a CCTv modulator into Tv terrestrial system, i installed a Maplins Modulator but it don't pass through the 9 volts needed for the sky remote controllers in other rooms.

normal coax 'V' connectors obviously won't work either , so i need a coax 'combiner' which will pass the 9 volts and insert the signal from the modulator.

Hmmm, yea, surely plugging the CCTV into the Aerial in socket on the Sky box would do the trick..

Or if you're needing to send the Terrestrial Antenna signal around too, then a V splitter thingie combing the CCTV and Aerial into the Aerial Input on the Sky Box should work, shouldnt it ..

you can get power bypass adaptors for this where..... youve guessed it the power bypasses the unit causing bother.
