Default Pls Help SB5100e modem

Hi Evereyone,

please go easy on me.

i have just bought a flashed sb5100e (haxorware) and it was meant to come with a user guide, but it hasnt.

i have read thru the forum and i just want to confirm how to go about seting it up.

i understand i set everytin up and go to 192.168.100.1, and then put in my working mac? is that all i need to do? also i read somewere about series no. wats that all about?

By the way i am in an ex cw area so do i also put in the tftp ip add, and which one should i use?

a 5100 on haxorware? are you sure?

Search this forum for "Setting Up Haxorware" that is if it has Haxorware on it. If it has it will be a SB5101e as opposed to the 5100. This is because the 5100 has the BCM3348 microprocessor which does not support Haxorware.

Mate use the search function, there are plenty of tutorials and threads about exactly that which you seek!
