Default bit of an unusual question. freeveiw etc.

thinking of getting this machine . i love its look and its upscaling and also had the freeveiw decoder on it .
would there be any way of turning on the emu on it and doing a tuneing like the starveiw etc?
idealy i also want info on a unit that lets be transfer vhs to dvd with macro removal cheers hugh

Freeviews encryption is not hacked, so you cant watch the pay channels unless you subscribe. Quite why you would want to with the pi55 poor selection of pay channels is puzzling though!

i just kinda meant the stuff coming from the rf pipe on te wall. im a complete novice here mate,,, theres a lot of chanels here on n t ell

Its a dtt box. Why do you think you will be able to use it for cable??

You cant - you want free cable you get a cable box (and take the discussion into the cable section!)

Well to cover the so called cable channels. If you put the feed from the cables companies aerial connection which should go to a legal cable box and the TV you are trying to tune in will get at least 6 channels in the clear without a cable box (Im a service engineer)
