Hi...
I need following Information please..and very sorry if it is already discussed in this forum..as I tried to find the same but couldn't find it.... Currently I have got SKY TV and SKY Broadband through BT Phone line... If I will cancel the SKY TV and buy the dreambox..can I get all the channels through SKY Broadband ? It is not the cable broadband. Also, do I need any more software to install on dreambox ? Which dreambox is good for me ? In short, I don't want any TV Subscription from SKY or other TV Provider....and still wants to watch all major channels..through broadbad..is it possible ? Your help is much appreciated...and I am sorry if anything is wrong in this thread... Thanks / Regards, |

Welcome my friend!
If you do have a cable feed to the house, you can use a dreambox, but only if the feed is connected, and on the VM network, be that ex-cw, ex-tw or ex-ntl. You could always opt for free-sat, or a motorised dish setup, there is plenty of 'free' satellite channels you could receive, with the right equipment. Hope this helps

You will not get any subscribed channels from s*y with dream box unless you do a search on google it mate (pain in the ass way of doing it, from what a mate says poor quality too). As above post states if you have cable and get a dreambox for cable different ball game.

As anologuesat always says If you want Sky, you pay for it! I suppose if you are subscribing, you could put your card in your receiver and give others your subscription. Feel free to google(We will not tell you about this method here)
