Default Haxorware 1.1 rev 32

I hear that this is the best firmware to use at the moment. But I was told it only worked with the sb5101e, now someone is trying to sell me an ambit with this firmware on it. He says the sb5101e and the ambit use the same chipset. Is this true, I've already got two bricks sitting in the corner and don't need a third

TIA

I can confirm it does indeed work on an Ambit 250/255 as I flashed several now myself!

Haxorware 1.1 (regardless of revision) supports all BCM3349 chipset modems.. Ie - 200, 250/255, webstar 2100 etc.. as they do indeed all share the same chipset.

Nah, I can assure you the latest revision of haxorware does work on the ambit modems, but like you have, its always best to check when in doubt.

Any other queries, fire away matey.

Yep he's right, as long as the modem has the BCM3349 Haxorware will run on it. This includes the Ambit 250/255/256, Scientific Atlanta Webstar 2100, SB5101/5102.

Picked this up yesterday. First thing I noticed is the masses of options. Is there a definitive guide to which options should be enabled/disabled. I'm used to basic sb4200 so I'm new to these advanced options

There are a few tutorials floating around but most of what you need can be found with a bit of searching.

Most people have gotten back online with trial and error it would seem.

Since I upgraded my modem to this revision, it has been on without any issues, I am also using a 00:02 MAC with BPI Disabled.

correct me if am wrong but I dont think it works on ambit200 coz the chip set is 3348 unlike 250/255's 3349
