It maybe a psu problem? , You can get 1 here should this be the problem.

Hi

Most likely a psu problem, you can repair this by replacing the caps on the psu. If you open up box and have a look you may see bulging or leaking cap/s better to change all of them to 1000uf 16v 105 degrees, will probably cost £2.50 depending on how many caps are on psu.

You need some soldering skills and make sure you observe polarity of caps if you do change them.

You could try the link shown above but Im sure you cant sell cable related equipment on this forum so might be difficult.

Regards

Hi

Make sure you change all the caps on the psu and not just the 4, the 2110 has 3 different psu some with 6 caps and soe with 5 I think so change them all for as said before high temp 105 degrees 1000uf 16v maplins code DT69A about 37p each.

Dont forget to observe polarity. Maybe wise to take a photo so you dont go wrong and obviously you change the caps with power off.

Also as said above if its a subbed box dont mess with it just give VM a ring and they will replace.

Regards

yeah, you never know, if they come and replace, they might just tell you to 'dispose' of the faulty one.
