The mid 80's stuff was good (Thriller, Billie Jean etc). The recent stuff was poor.

Agreed, but it was such albums as Thriller and the song Billie Jean that made him legendary anywho!

I went to see 'We will rock you' the Queen musical to other day, they mentioned him and everyone stood clapping. A respected musician despite some problems in recent years!
