I have flashed the chip and am recieving the haxorware page however i go through all the steps from the tutorial on here but for some reason still wont go online.I have a valid mac address but i havent changed the ethernet mac but it comes up 12:00;66;de;ad;01 this is an example not the actual mac.help plz im new to all of this.thank you

if you have flashed the 256 yourself you'll need to set the tuner by telnet

Just leave the ethernet MAC you don't need to be changing that at all. There is no guide anywhere that suggests changing the ethernet MAC. So. Just leave it.

does the haxorware page say its operational?

have you set the usb address one up from the mac address?

can i just ask why you have to do this as i just done my first ambit 256 and just left the usb mac.

no idea, guides don't explain why to change it, but i doubt they'd put it in there for nothing?

Well tbh, I just leave my USB MAC as it is and I don't encounter any problems at all. AFAIK the USB MAC would only matter if you were maybe using it to connect.

thats what i thought mate just leave the usb if you only use ethernet cable
