Default problem with 4000-t

Hey guys need some help here if possible.

I ordered my pogo 10 way from TMC and a new pci card for my pc as it never had a paralell port, any way the jtag dosen't fit into the paralell card unless i take the little silver bit of it will it still work this way or will i have to get a printer cable aswell, take it will be male to female cable.

I tried to take the little silver bit from the jtag and it fits in ok but when i try to connect to BKE 2.2 it just keeps saying internal error, i have tried reseating the pogo pins loads of times but still no luck.
Also are the pins on the board ment to have solder in them or are they ment to be empty, this box has never been touched or tampered with.

Some advice would be app

yep u have to take that silver cover off as the dam screws dont fit on a paralell pci or the on board port

make sure as well u run the driver before your try bke as that could be way its not working... also ALL mother boards have a paralell port ( printer ) on them unless really new

if a pci card one, u may have to play with the epp settings or what every it is, i tried 3 pci cards and dont work for me so i brought a cheap pc of ebay
