Have you found a way round this yet G77 mate? My uncle has a PACE 1000 (Phase B I think) with the old NTL firmware on and he keeps nagging at me to get the audio description off but trying to explain to him why it's on is like talking to myself lol. He said he would buy another box off me (I recommended a Samsung 2110C) but I want to get this box sorted if possible.

the only way around it is to copy the atmels from a same model box which is already on 3.6.

i have a theory thou.....

this 3.7 update is rolling out isnt it? apparently it stops the funs working with it.
if this software is being released everywhere to combat the funs, surely this will have to be available for the 1000's otherwise there will still be people on 3.6 on 1000's with funs in them. so, if they do update. we just need a mosc in the 1000's
