Please could anyone tell me how to update ntl pace 1000 firmware into the latest version. Thanks

Hold standby, insert the power cable, keep hold of standby until you see "----" on the LED display. Release standby, press the buttons to the left of Standby from bottom to top until you see 4231 on the display and press OK. The box will run some commands and it will begin to update once you see numbers rolling on the LED display

if you get frustrated that trying blakeys method doesnt work well check this....

Updating software....

are they still updating on your stream blakey? if so, when can i fetch 3 round to update?

I managed to update a PACE 2000 from the old firmware to new VM firmware?

Thanks guys. I left my funcard in the box whilst updating, is that bad?

UPDATE: The box has finished updating yet when it starts up I get the NTL logo and it takes me to the normal dashboard but it keeps saying STOP on the led display and resets everytime.

Take the card out then try booting the box. Is the Net ID correct?

may be your box has a no update mod// ie only two chips on the sim inside the box//to go into eng menu power down under channel dislpay there 4 little buttons press the up/down at the same time an power up keep pressing the up/down till you see blue eng screen /then go page2 there will be your net id

2000's = no problem, its the 1000* which refuse to update
