Have you tried 101 you might have to press ok a few times without card.

i dont know if this helps but, i've just switched to the AV(scart) channel manually on my tv and its showing a black screen, but if i press one of the buttons, i get the mini guide there saying 400 NO CHANNELS AVAILABLE,

so seems like its stuck on that channel but cant move away because there are no others to move to?

Is the frequency right in eng menu? sounds like its not taking an update, you would be best to get your boxkey off the card before doing anything else, then you can try pulling red jumper.
You could try forced update a couple more times.

I think the box needs update and with do if you pull the red jumper, it happned to my box b4 evrything was set but the box will not get to the channel 999 it gets as far as 740 and nothing on the screen, so I pulled the red jumper and done the funcard again box updated it self and when to channel 999 and that was it everything was fine.

ok i'll check the frequency now, i've already got the boxkey, its written on the card by the person i bought it off.

when it boots up, i get that customer info popup as well, about the channels not being available because a cable might be unplugged. error number M043

the default frequency in the eng menu is 666.750 (page1) is that the one you're looking for?

on both pages 13 and 14, i've got signal low message, with 3 orange boxes on p13

also i got it to flick between all the channels before, some of the listings came up, but no picture on every channel, there was a slight noise every now and again tho, so it defo seems like a signal/frequency problem..
