Your card will be ok but you will need to set the net id again with libby or the fun card trick

right ok, would i use the same cable that i connected to my phoenix programmer (rs232)? as the cable for dummies guide says i need a null modem type for libby, mine is a straight through..

oh and i kept trying the force update method and now it says tune on the lcd and flicks between some random numbers and then says tune again, is it updating? :s

its finished doing that, no difference!

i'll do the libby method in the morning!

Libby works with serial cables. You need to know how to use the program, there is a small tutorial in the Novice Angel Cable Guide I think.

In the title of this thread you say V+ and then later on, you mention PACE 4000?

ok i managed to reset the net id and change it with libby, still having the same problem tho, just wont update. the forced update shows less text than it did before now.

might be a problem with the physical signal reciever inside the box?

heres a video of what happens when i force an update..

if that doesnt show anything that immediately obvious, does anyone reckon its a faulty tuner? i pulled it out and checked that talkback track was cut, which it already has been.

Note: video file didnt play in windows media player for me, played fine on vlc player.
