cheers mate! thanks for all the help, someone was offering to do it for me for £40, i'm glad i looked into doing it myself, i know how to do it now.

ok, so there no way we can watch on demand/sky box office and ppv events on these boxes? i remember i could on my first pace one a few years back.

Only with talkback connected, not a good idea and would soon be blacklisted.

btw if theres anything else i can do to my box or card to 'improve the service' like i don't know a firmware update or something then i'd love to know!

Your box is working fine now just leave it as it is m8, unless something goes wrong then if we can help we will...
Ps: don't be charging people a lot to their cards, you know how it feels

-is it possible to do a similar thing with sky at all?
-do you fancy helping me sort out a very old ntl pace box that once worked? lol

p.s. i'm not going to charge anyone. its for personal use only

Sky you cant do, the pace plug it in without card in and see if it still works,check net id etc, if so then do card.
