Just got one of these phones given, but it is ex contract!! be unlocked, does anyone know if this phone can be unlocked, and if so, where can I get the code from to do this???

i ran a quick search on google mate and found lots of sites were they can be done by code i use some of these sometimes some only cost 1 pound someting through paypal so your fully covered if they cant if it cant be done by code it means it will have to be done by cable usually around 10 pounds there should be a shop in your local highstreet

Just tried one of these "instantunloockcodes" paid 3.29 pound, and now they say they cant do it!

Like i say, the phone is ex-contract (O2)... Would O2 give me the code, if so at what price??

Yes they would, I think 02 codes are free but other networks charge. Some 02 contract phones come unlocked from new so try another sim card before you ask for the code.

That phone is DB3150, these phones can be unlocked for free using a program called Aerix. Your phone may not be on the list at the moment but it's being updated all the time
