Dreambox nagra 2 Ireland fix-I presume Dbox also and other linux receivers

OK, just to be crystal ( for me, and fellow non clever types) on step 3, (starting the cam)

-hit yellow on the remote
-navigate to /var/bin
-scroll down to hypercam_1.06
-hit OK
-left arrow to highlight and hit "OK" (you should be looking at the "Execute hypercam... dialogue box")
- you then see a blue screen with "/var/bin/hypercam_1.06" at the top
- press the exit button twice on the remote
-left arrow to highlight "yes", (on the "save current settings" box) then press OK
- exit button to get back to a channel
-if you are on a blank channel, wait until it appears ?

no scanning, reload EMU, or anything else??

Hmm.. maybe not a Dbox fix then-they're on about something called PLI I think, but there may be some new Dbox images coming out soon supporting these fixes

No Mate it wont fix the D Box at the mo
You can load it on and run it
But it wont clear the channels
PLI is a Dreambox image
It is clearing all channels on some Dreambox images

Just wondering are PLI images compatible for both cable and sat? Ive lost some sound on a couple of channels, so Im thinking of changing my image. Also am I right in thinking that gemini is the only image that will kill clones?

But if you bought your 500c lately it will be a clone
And any Gemini image higher than v4.2 will kill it ..........Paul

Well its the openmedia 500cs so definitely a clone lol. If on the digital kaos forums, they are talking about a PLI image, then surely it must be made for cable at least?

flash it with a neutrino image dude............then it will work exactly the same as a dbox2..........something you are familiar with !!!!!

Theres about 6 PLI images there all for the Dreambox
They are Enigma images
Not sure if they will work on the D box
However there are a couple of PBI images for the D box
These also are Enigma images

Yes a Dbox running the new hypercam has blank channels. Most promising was the ss-enigma-v4 image as that at least generates some hypercam logging.

Why will it not work? Is it something small like incorrect lib files?

Well there arent too many of them around lol. I do have one neutrino image that humforce gave a link to, but with that one on three channels there has been a loss of sound, so I thought to try a new image
