a few months back all the modems in belfast went down and the guy who does it said there is no fix yet to get them running properly im looking into doing them myself but was wondering if any one knew any fixes sorry for a noob thread

There is no fix as such, you just need to adjust your settings to get it to work again. Just read plenty and I;m sure you will be OK. Most of us are all back online and the problems seem to have subsided somewhat.
