Hi,

Bought eurovix ex5200 pvr two days ago and struggling to pass the first hurdle! For some unknown reason the I am not getting any display on TV to carry out the next steps...

Help!!

Hi and welcome to Techwatch

check that your scart is in the tv scart slot of the box and connected to AV1 on TV also make sure it is fully inserted, try a different one if need be.

I have now tried it on two other tvs with different scart cables and still no response!

It makes me wonder weather the box was genuine or just a defective one? First time with these boxes so very unsure!!

Any other ideas!

you could have a dicky av socket
have a go connecting some coaxial from uhf to TV and see if you can tune the box in to the video channel

Where was the box purchased from ?

Also try it in the VCR Scart socket instead.

I have got the same problem my ex5100 is working however when i took it to my friends house no display was coming up so couldnt make remote to work either. Any suggestions
