most of it is in the ambit 200 tut. you'll then need a pic of the pins on surfboards and webbies. its on here somewhere

right, i have the diagrams. i was going to make a tut but i have packed all the diagrams up in a rar so if you want to pm me, i'll gladly send it on.

when making the poormans blackcat, you do not need the resitors as shown on the diagram

also, when doing a webstar, you need to solder pins 2+7 (on the modem) together. i suggest doing this on the rear of the modem with a bit of wire.

some pc's also want the whole D sub and modem to be 'earthed' to the outer of the connector. do this by applying a bit of flux to the tuner can and soldering the outer of the D sub to this point using one of the spare wires in the solid cat 5.

use blackcat software for ambits and moto's (sometimes a patch is needed)

use toms jtag utility for webbys

Guy's just 1 more question lol, when I say the modem is untouched I mean since it came off duty with you know who about 18 months ago, am I still ok just with the blackcat and put firmware on, then good to go
