by flash do you mean you cant d/load from your pc to sv3? this could be your problem. the cable may be wrong, but i think you said you had done others. can you be a bit more precise as to your cable, rs232 / null modem ?

i have tried both cables mate also tried 2 pc systems still no go
can they be jtagged?
