I have used this bootloader in SoftJTAG because I have problems using the others. Usually the P disappears if I miss it using other bootloaders, will it stay if i'm using this bootloader (even if I miss pressing it at the correct moment)?

Yes, It works. I missed it a couple of times on purpose and it came back when I rebooted the modem

yes I have tried it and its still there, I even used betty image and let max dload 4 so that the modem takes an update and it was still there when i checked the next day.
