few simple questions :)

firstley sorry, if these questions have been answred in other threads, its just that im not completley on point with all the terminology, so dont understand some of them.

i have a few questions:

1) when sniffing for macs using DHCP sniffer, can i use the mac on my own lagit modem as a base mac, and can i use my lagit modem to sniff with?

2) Does DCHP force sniff or scan?

3) if i was to leave Virgin M would they kill the feed, or will it remain a live feed to my house and only services will be stopped.

Yes and it does both. No use scanning now though, most areas are dynamic and they don't let you sniff, you get back random MACs but no Configs.

A3: Okay if you Leave VM and have a hacked modem and a hacked Tv i think there will know what your kinder doing to be honest.. also its best to have some sort of Plan.. like a subbed modem if the hacked one goes off you always have the internet or even a phone line becasue there are starting to cut the feed from them Green Box's now as my mate found out the hard way
