Default Cable Ferret 1.6 img.

I am really really stuck now, i have tried flashing my Sagem Dbox2 1X with the cable ferret image from the download sticky thing. I think i need to put the nagra rom 7 file onto my box, but.... i can't connect to using FlashFxp??? the connection times out, it says the user name is "root" and the password is "dbox2" which i have tried several times but i still cannae connect! any help appreciated thanks in advance.

i have checked the network connections and there is no Ping? how do i resolve this problem?

if you cant connect useing fxp then its IFA { image flash assistant }

Are you using a cross-over Ethernet cable? Have you tried turning your network card down to 10mbps?

hi guys i've sorted the connection with FlashFxp i put the Cable Ferret 1.6 img on my box i got my uncles box and backed up his image so i know it works with the autoupdate and everything, but now i have it on my box none of the channels work, not even FTA channels? any help appreciated yet again!

Hi m8, try cute ftp next time and make sure you are using an RJ45 crossover cable. Did you check what your 'ACTIVE' network setting were on the dbox. As you need to make sure these are saved after entering them.

Cableferret is very old, you would do better with a current image like Commando 11 - it's possible that the CF image uses a different password, it's been so long, I can't remember for sure.
