modding bs5100

first this modem had been flashed stopped working, tried getting into the page to put in new mac could not get into that page only the normal motorola page was told it needed doing again so thought have a go yourself got the blackcat and the rest hook it up get the page manafacturer broadcom what it says in haynes go to memory tab read all finishes save then go to flash tab detect find sb5100 a200-nosh 2mbr goes through it all verifys all flashes then then i carry on with the rest of the manual do all that it says but when its all finishes and i replug the power lead nothing everything gone so i did the fix for bricked modem got it back but where was i going wrong at first try thanks take into account im a noob thanks again

may be u flashed it with bad/corrupt firmware, if u sure its SB5100 then use SB5100MOD with the P enabled.

PS: All you do is connect the Blackcat> detect flash>untick verify written data> write all>browse to where u saved the firmware and double click it then put the kettle on and watch some telly coz it will take about 40 minutes.
