I would be very grateful if someone can tell me tell me where I can download the latest firmware for the Eurovox ex7000. Thanks.

you can get it in the downloads section on this site.

to get into downloads section click on Forums
in the 2nd forum (UK Cable) click on the Private FTA forum
then first thread some download links, what you want is in the Eurovox link
copy and paste address in to your browser then download required files

you need the firmware dated 12/03/09

Currently using a 500gig maxtor with no problems.

Also are these harddrives plug and play or do u need to reformat it?

As far as i am aware as long as they are formatted as FAT32 and connect via usb then it should work.

lo again ,just seen samsung have a new desktopharddrive coming out it's called story station 1tb it's meant to be formatted fat32 already, do u think this will work?
