Default Starview update cable

I was just wondering what cable i should buy as i have a laptop now and the socket for the cable i got with my starview box is the a female adapter and the socket on my laptop is also a female and wont fit so i need a male adapter but not sure what type, could someone give me any ideas please.

Just get a serial 2 usb mate from fleebay works wonders

or look for a gnder changer on there but sometimes there don't work well so i suggest you buying a usb 2 serial

or get a numm cable

You need a null modem cable mate.
