What does it mean when you get DE:AD in your mac address? It happened to me when I was doing some stuff in telnet, went to sigma page and the mac address had DE:AD in it. I just changed it on that page and it changed no bother and hasn't went back to the DE:AD one. I read that this means the modem is fooked but it's almost getting online. Do you think this can have anything to do with it though?

Mate where the f*** did you read that that meant your modem has had it? Whoever wrote it needs a good kicking. That is just the MAC(s) that comes as standard when you install Haxorware. This might help you out; keep things simple, don't worry yourself about any other MAC than the HFC MAC, this is the one that counts. Changing the others has no effect whatsoever for most people. Some people change the USB MAC by +1 hex, but for the most part it has no effect. One thing also with changing the ethernet MAC is that it can make it so Haxorware will no longer be accessible to you, and the modem may not even connect properly to the computer giving Limited Connectivity errors.

Like I said, keep it simple, and you won't go far wrong. It's when you start messing with other stuff trying to get your modem to work out of frustration, that you start creating more problems for yourself.

With a fresh flash of Haxorware, all you should be interested in the frequency, the HFC MAC, and possibly the BPI setting and the Annex for your cable network.

I read it on here somewhere mate. Saying you need to reflash it and allsorts if it happens. The modem has Sigma-X2 on it. I'll keep plugging away...
