liteon requires extra hardware,every other drive is straight forward bar hitachi (they need modeb and restore e4tc) but,liteon requires tx bridge and rs3232,some people feel taking the risk of shoving the probe in there is worth it,me,i actualy solder into the drives pcb,so i probably take an harder route than most,i dont btrust kits as they are risk of powerr spike and killing the drive.

so i charge extra fiver for liteon.theres simply more to do.
