Default Beware of Ebay seller ..big Problems.

Just letting some of you guys know that I have been stung by a guy from london who is currently selling new Infinity USB Unlimited programmers for £35.99 + p&p when you connect them up you get a pop up from WBE informing you that the device is "Blacklisted" as it was purchased with a stolen credit card...in fact I have an email from them and it was a large batch of units and they say they are heavilly out of pocket and they have made Ebay aware of there loss! I am in negotiations with the seller trying to get my money back and purchase a cushty one on Ebay. (check out seller item number 150354930568)

He has 100% feedback including positive feedback for the Infinity programmers. If you have a stolen programmer from him, It may be a good idea to post negative feedback to warn other users.

....Always a bit scary leaving neg feedback particullary at this stage (trying to get my money back) I think that WBE has only just blacklisted the units and the previous purchasers are now getting blacklist popups and so because they have already left feedback, they have no further right of reply !!

Give the seller a paypal dispute if they dont refund you. Sometimes, paypal disputes say that they need more time to come to a solution and may take 1 week more or something along them lines. This happened to me, I then gave the seller neg. feedback. and I got the money back the next day

how the hell can they blacklist a card programmer that doesnt connect to the internet, they would have to write all the blacklisted numbers into there driver download (thats if you use them, it comes with drivers on a cd), as you download the drivers then install them. What software on your pc transmits the serial number to WBE and alerts them to the programmer ????????/. I am sure they are not scanning every pc in the uk looking for them. So there is something more going on here.

Thats what I wandered, they asked me to forward the serial number and where I purchased it from via email

This might br a blanket popup from the WBE site that is affecting all units or could they have suspected that the Infinitys on Ebay were from the stolen batch and they tracked me as the purchaser?
